Evening though, this is a dated book, it hold truth to this very day. Finding the way to God has been put in simple words and terms. I'm not a babe in Christ, but this book brought me back to the basic of coming to Christ. Moody takes the time to touch on how we may have thought before coming to Christ. He help to dispel any untruths we may have had in the beginning before salvation or still have. I would recommend this book to anyone who is seeking God and how to find to Him. I pray those who are seeking God will be blessed by this book and receive the free gift of salvation. Be blessed in Jesus' name. Amen.Product details

I highly recommend this book to all Christians who need clarity, comfort, assurance about their faith and to seekers interested in the faith. I found numerous insights in Moody's writing which have been repeated by current religious leaders, speakers and writers and had no idea they came originally from him. This book really moved me. It's free so there is no reason not to try it!
The book was a pretty good read. The book had its moments and at times it dragged a bit. However, in the end, I did learn somethings that help me gain a greater understanding of my LORD Savior Jesus Christ.
He writes beautifully and simply and eschews hair splitting theology. He reminds of us basic truths that my liberal church wants to gloss over. We are in real danger if we neglect out spiritual life
Very easy to read, and put in very practical language. It reads very quickly. Moody uses good basic bible references and quotes that provides not only good support for his points, but also makes his point seem obvious when you consider it in the manner given. The arguments, points, and language are also not out of date. I am really enjoying it.
It seems that some books take far longer to lose their meaning than others. Such is the case with The Way to God and How to Find It. Dwight L. Moody fills the pages with reason after reason to come to God just as you are, and he dismantles common arguments which people use to run from God. His use of similes, metaphors, and anecdotes is brilliant and quite appropriate to his statements, permitting one to understand better topics which might be considered "ethereal" or perplexing otherwise. If you truly want to benefit from this book, don't just read it; do what it says.
I chose this rating because, even it took me forever to complete, my spirituality is changed through this book. I reccommend this book to anyone doubting Christ's ability to save them. Don't give up on the book. It's a tough read. It took me over a year to finish. Once I got to the meat of the book (Jesus is all in all, assurance of salvation) it was hard to put down. The real-life examples really clarify and the scriptures used ground the assertions.
Very good book by Mr. Moody. I read it as part of my daily devotions and enjoyed it very much. His insight into 'our daily' struggles is right on the money. One of an "old time preacher" that walked daily with The Lord. If your looking for a good book for your devotion I recommend this one.
